LIS HADDAD (Belo Horizonte – Brazil, 1981) is a multidisciplinary artist who researches the body-object relationship and the artist's production when in transit among territories. She is particularly interested in the dynamics of movements that take place in bodies in exile and in the tension between materiality and what is intangible in the formation of territories.
Since 2017 she has shared her time between Brazil and Asia working in Brazilian and Indian institutions as an artist and teacher. The unfolding of her work is shared in the form of objects, exhibitions, performances, workshops, classes and lectures.
Among the works already developed, we highlight the coordination of the jewelry department and foundation of the Arch Academy of Art & Design, Jaipur-India (2017-2018); development and mentoring of the creative process laboratory Joia Expandida (2015-2018), solo exhibition The skin is the deepest one (Museu da Moda - Belo Horizonte 2016), finalist Auditions Brasil 2010 Anglogold Ashanti.
She is currently artist-in-residence of the AIR-München 2022 program.

LIS HADDAD (Belo Horizonte – Brasil, 1981) é artista multidiplinar e pesquisa a relação corpo-objeto e a produção do artista em movência. Tem especial interesse na dinâmica dos movimentos que acontecem em corpos em exílio e na tensão entre materialidade e o que é intangível na formação de territórios.
Desde 2017 compartilha seu tempo entre Brasil e Ásia atuando em instituições brasileiras e indianas como artista e professora. Os desdobramentos de seu trabalho são compartilhados em forma de objetos, exposições, performances, workshops, aulas e palestras.
Dentre trabalhos já desenvolvidos, destacam-se coordenação do departamento de joalheria e foundation da Arch Academy of Art & Design, Jaipur-India (2017-2018); desenvolvimento e mentoria do laboratório de processos criativos Joia Expandida (2015-2018), exposição individual A pele é o mais profundo (Museu da Moda - Belo Horizonte 2016), finalista Auditions Brasil 2010 Anglogold Ashanti.
Atualmente é artista residente do programa AIR-München 2022
