LIS HADDAD (1981) é artista multidisciplinar e pesquisa o artista em movência, as dinâmicas e tensões entre materialidade e o intangível na formação de territórios e os conceitos de paisagens domésticas versus paisagens indomesticáveis, sejam literais ou metafóricas. Vetores de "entre" presentes em deslocamentos, como tempo ou a contração e expansão de espaços , frequentemente ocupam o centro das obras. Sua pesquisa sobre pertencimento é também uma estratégia para ampliar sua percepção do que é o lar e comunidade.
Desde 2017 atua também na Índia como artista, designer e educadora . Entre projetos recentes destacam-se as exposições Over (the) Mine (Ebenböckhaus, Munique, 2022) e Water Bodies (MaHalla, Berlim, 2022), exposição coletiva Tramas da Memória (Museu de Artese Ofícios, BH, 2022), palestrante do projeto Exploring Visual Cultures Summer School - Documenta 15 (Kassel, 2022), artista palestrante na Akademie der Bildenden Künst Munchën (Munique, 2022), coord. do dep. de joalheria da Arch Academy of Design, (Jaipur, 2017/2018); criação e desenvolvimento do lab. Joia Expandida (2015/2018), expo. individual A pele é o mais profundo (Museu da Moda, BH, 2016). Em 2022 participou dos programas de residência artística AIR-München e Projekthof-Karnitz. Artista selecionada para Bienal de Florença 2023.

LIS HADDAD (1981) is a multidisciplinary artist who researches the artist in transit, the dynamics and tensions between materiality and the intangible in the formation of territories, and the concepts of domestic versus indomestic landscapes, whether literal or metaphorical. Vectors of the "in-between" present in displacement, such as time or the contraction and expansion of spaces, often occupy the center of her works. Her research on belonging is also a strategy to broaden her perception of what is home and community.
Since 2017 she has also been working in India as an artist, designer and educator. Recent projects include the exhibitions Over (the) Mine (Ebenböckhaus, Munich, 2022) and Water Bodies (MaHalla, Berlin, 2022), group exhibition Tramas da Memória (Museu de Artese Ofícios, BH, 2022), lecturer at the project Exploring Visual Cultures Summer School - Documenta 15 (Kassel, 2022), lecturing artist at the Akademie der Bildenden Künst Munchën (Munich, 2022), coord. of the jewelry dep. at Arch Academy of Design, (Jaipur, 2017/2018); creation and development of the lab.
